About this game

Thetan Arena is a 4v4 online competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) that has multiple in-game aspects, including play-to-earn (P2E), non-fungible token (NFT), and freemium elements.

There are three types of heroes: tanks, marksmen, and assassins. Killing heroes (or assisting in their kills) and gathering experience shards located within crates on the map provide experience (and strengthen your hero’s overall stats). Each hero is allowed to equip three families of skills. Some of them allow you to dash away from danger, while others create a variety of effects (stun, damage, heal, slow, etc.)

Thetan Arena has multiple game modes, including tower defense, deathmatch, and battle royale, among others.

P2E News

Thetan Arena has become one of the fastest-growing NFT and play-to-earn games of all time. According to the team, over 3 million users were accumulated within the first 7 days of launch! Let’s dive into the game together.

What is Thetan Arena?

Thetan Arena is a 4v4 online competitive multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) that has multiple in-game aspects, including play-to-earn (P2E), non-fungible token (NFT), and freemium elements.

When you open the game, it’s pretty much intuitive: you get three heroes, play a couple of tutorial matches to get the feel of the game, and then start to verse for real.

If this is your first time playing MOBAs, then it’s going to be a steep learning curve for you. However, players of games like Dota 2, League of Legends, and Mobile Legends, will find themselves right at home!

Gameplay Overview

There are three types of heroes: tanks, marksmen, and assassins. Ultimately, the goal is to gain experience and strengthen your hero’s overall stats. You can defeat heroes (or assist in their kills) and gather experience shards located within crates on the map provided. Each hero is allowed to equip three families of skills. Some of them allow you to dash away from danger, while others create various effects (stun, damage, heal, slow, etc.)

There are four basic modes in this game:

  • Solo Battle Royale: pretty basic – be the last man standing. The playing area becomes smaller over time, and there are environmental dangers abound, especially when opening crates.
  • Duo Battle Royale: once again, pretty basic – be the last team standing. Twice the action and twice the danger!
  • Tower: requires more teamwork and time management. You first grab a battery, defend the battery holder for a set period of time, charge the team’s assault robot, and assault the enemy base together with it.
  • Deathmatch: the cookie-cutter MOBA mode. Get as many kills as possible or dump kills on your enemy to the point that they can never come back.

The game spices it up with different modes on top of those above – though there’s a catch! While it’s true that you will gain MMR (match-making ranking) quickly, it can be lost in the same way that you would lose it in a regular game.

As a result, if you want a consistent way to rank up, it would be best to stick to the Deathmatch mode. Or you can learn the best way to conquer other modes! After all, each type requires a different approach and skill set.
