Axie Infinity Will Host an Off-Season Community Tournament on January 9 and 10!

Axie Infinity is excited to announce that it will host an off-season community tournament on January 9 and 10, live on its Twitch channel! This tournament is an excellent opportunity for the Axie Infinity community to showcase new builds for the upcoming Origins Season 2.

16 community members will have the chance to battle for eternal glory and a prize pool of 350 AXS, worth approximately $2300 at current prices. The tournament will feature special rules that align with the new Season 2 mechanic called ‘Eras‘. On January 9, the tournament will feature only Rare Runes and Charms, while January 10 will allow both Rare and Epic Runes and Charms (No Mystics).

In addition, all players will be required to use only Floor Axies, as each participant will receive a $25 budget to buy Axies for the tournament.
